Arson suspected in sled fire

Rainy River’s Volunteer Fire Dept. was extremely busy last week.
Mid-week they were called to fire behind the CN Hotel. A snowmobile belonging to Fred Foulger was burned. Arson is suspected.
The dept. was also called to a grass fire north of town on Saturday and a truck rollover on the same day. The occupants of the truck did not receive life threatening injuries.
They also conducted a controlled burn of a field at the Ministry of Transportation property.
