Please be advised that bacteriological sampling of Rainy River and Emo Beaches has indicated that E. coli levels have returned to acceptable levels. The beach advisory for Rainy River and Emo Beaches has been rescinded based on two consecutive samples with average E. coli counts less than 100 units per 100 ml.
Weekly bacteriological sampling will continue to be carried out for the duration of the swimming season to ensure that water quality does not affect the health and safety of swimmers.
