When Three Mile Island nuclear generating station failed and Chernobyl in the Ukraine failed, North America balked at that technology for generating electricity. European countries and developing countries continued to embrace that method of generating electricity.
Even the damming of rivers for hydro electricity, flooding lands, causing silt build up, and preventing the movement of fish has environmentalists crying foul. Should we stop generating hyrdo electricity?

Two men have been fined a total of $2,900 for various offences related to illegally hunting at night.

At the University Hospital, London on Friday, May 28, 2010, Lena Anita Brown, (nee Johnson), of Pinewood, Ontario age 52, passed away. Beloved wife of Vernon. Loving step-mother of Veronica, Tyler and Stacey. Dear daughter of Hilkka Grouda of Sudbury and the late Alexis Johnson. Cherished sister of her twin Riitta (Paul) Caruso, Gary (Marlene) Johnson, Leila Johnson (Bob Nault) and Kaija (Dan) Jalbert. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her cat Muffin and dog Skipper.
