The Rainy Fun Fly was a great success again this year. The grey skies didn't stop the pilots from launching their prized possessions. There were lots of great activities during Railroad Daze this year.

Travelling through Europe this spring, I was amazed at the number of small bookstores that were found in the centre of the cities that we visited. I couldn’t help but wonder why in Europe, small book stores could be so successful, yet in Canada we seem to see all the independent stores disappearing in favor of box store sellers.
