Joan Pentney passed away on Friday, May 1st, 2015 Funeral services will be held at the Bergland Hall on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Lay Pastor Carolyn Kreger officiating.

Sadly the family announces the sudden passing of Blanche Booth, 74, of Rainy River, ON on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at the Rainy River Hospital.

Surrounded by love and family by his side, it is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Glen Armstrong on April 16, 2015 at the age of 59.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank (Bud) and Della Armstrong, brother Donald (Duck) Armstrong, sister-in-law Roxanne Armstrong and most recently, his mother in law Peggy Murray.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Donald Kenneth Barry announces his passing on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Evangeline Pawson (nee Carlson) announces her sudden but quiet passing on March 20, 2015 at the age of 90. Dorothy was born on March 1, 1925 in Rainy River, Ontario. As a teen her family moved to Surrey, BC where she attended high school at Queen Elizabeth Secondary. In 1946, she married Allan Pawson in St. Helen's Church and began life as a wife and mother. Dorothy and Al raised their 5 children on 129 St among wonderful neighbours and friends, many of whom attended her 90th birthday party last month.

GROUDA, Hilkka (nee Kolhemainen) – In Loving Memory of Hilkka Grouda, 87 years. Peacefully passed on March 6, 2015 at the Extendicare York in Sudbury, Ontario. Born in Kerimaki, Finland, Hilkka bravely emigrated to Canada from Helsinki, Finland in 1954 to start her new life in Canada. She soon married Alexis Johnson (predeceased) and began her own family on the farm in Arbor Vitae, Ontario. Her family was always her strength.

On March 13, 2015 Lorraine Aurore Giles (Lambert) peacefully went to the loving arms of Jesus, her Lord and Saviour.

Steven was born in the Fort Frances, Ontario, hospital on Sunday, January 30, 1994. Twenty-one years ago, on Thursday, February 3, the doctor sent us by air ambulance to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to get his heart checked. Then on Friday, February 4, they sent us to Toronto for heart surgery. On Monday, February 7, the surgery was done.

Sadly on February 2, 2015 Nevin Roger Bonot, 64 of Devlin, ON, passed away at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
