My workshop has been churning out sawdust since the holidays. Instead of smoke gets in your eyes, saw dust gets on my glasses. And at the end of the day they are often hard to see out of.

Earth Day to honour grads and heroes

Earth Day Canada is looking to reward graduating high school students with one of twenty $5 000 post-secondary scholarships. To date, the national environmental charity has doled out $500 000 to 100 students through the Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program. As the 2010 application deadline (February 28) approaches, Earth Day Canada is encouraging local high school students to access a new batch of $5 000 scholarships.
