Sad to see such a small crowd

To the Parents of Rainy River and Area !!
I was at a KidSports fund raiser on Sunday, Nov 16th at the Rainy River Rec. Centre.
It was sad to see such a small crowd.

Winter is on its way

Friday afternoon, had Jim Brow and myself travelling to Kenora for a swim meet. Historically, most of the lakes and creeks are iced over. In some years there are already snow banks on the sides of the highway. The swim meet always takes place on the same weekend in November.

KidSport deserved a better turn out

Sunday evening I attended the first Rainy River KidSport Variety Show at the Rainy River Community Centre.
I was shocked that there were so few people there watching.
