  • Main St. Makeover

Rainy River's Main Street is nearly done its makeover. The project involved all new infrastructure last summer, new sidewalks, new street lights and on Monday paving began. By lunch time one strip of asphalt was down the 300 block and heading south.

  • Big donation!

66 Rainy River High School students donated $4,106 to KidSport Rainy River last week! The big donation came from a Wake-a-thon fundraiser they held at the school on April 22, 2016. Each student was asked to raise at least $50 and some raised as much as $150. The money will be well used, helping kids in the community who may not get to play sports due to family financial constraints.
