On November 12-21, a group of 25 individuals from the Rainy River District will be going to Guatemala to serve with Grace Ministries. They will be building homes for impoverished families, directing a Bible School for children and serving at orphanages. It is anticipated that 25 homes will be constructed. There are 12 individuals from the Town of Rainy River participating. Each of these individuals are covering their own personal costs (airfare, food, lodging, and ground transportation).

The Guatemala team is hosting a fund-raising event to provide for the costs of the materials to build homes. There will be a taco dinner at the Rainy River Evangelical Covenant Church this coming Sunday, September 30 from 12:00-2:00pm. You are cordially invited to attend. A free-will offering will be received. All proceeds will go directly to costs of building homes in Guatemala. At 2:00pm, there will be an informational meeting for all participants (and future participants). Anyone who would like to know more about Grace Ministries trips to Guatemala is welcome to attend.
