RRHS grade 9 geography class hosted a special open house last week. Teams of students researched different cultures that immigrated to Canada. They put together displays and offered cuisine from the culture they researched. There were eight different cultures on display and to taste, including Polish, Italian, Punjabi, Mexican, French, Ojibway, Chinese and Portugeuse. Teacher Laura Armistead and a student are seen here sampling sausage at the Polish table who also had perogies to try.
