Too much turkey?

Monday I did not have much of an appetite. I was still full from our family's Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday.
People that I bumped into while walking the dog on Monday asked how my Thanksgiving went.
"It went great! But I ate too much!" I told them.
"Oh too much turkey?" they said?
I chuckled and said, "No I hardly had any turkey this year!"
And in actual fact that is true. Normally I pile the bird up on my plate and give myself a good dose of tryptophan (the stuff that makes you sleepy after eating turkey). I am not sure why I decided to take less turkey than normal. But I proceeded to take some perogies, mashed taters, stuffing, mixed veggies and Uncle Bob's famous parmesan buns! My plate was burgeoning and as I filled the last square inch, I realized I hadn't any room for cabbage rolls.
So once my plate was somewhat cleaned I had some cabbage rolls.
All of that was followed by homemade pumpkin pie and whipped cream!
Needless to say it was evident from what I ate I definitely had too much to eat! Just not too much turkey this year!
