O.P.P. intercept 8 lbs. of marihuana
On December 5, 2013 the Fort Frances Community Action Team in conjunction with the Thunder Bay Drug Enforcement Unit intercepted a courier package containing approximately 8 pounds of marihuana. The parcel was shipped from British Columbia and destined to an adult male from Emo, ON.
As a result of the police investigation, an adult male was arrested on December 6, 2013 and charged with Trafficking a Schedule II drug (cannabis marihuana) over 3 kilograms and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule II (cannabis marihuana) over 3 kilograms. The male is currently in custody awaiting a court appearance on January 13, 2014.
