Great to be part of this community

Wow!
What an amazing evening we had at the Alzheimer Dinner to Remember Saturday.
For weeks volunteers have been busy as bees working to get the event ready and when Saturday came I was overwhelmed by the entire experience.
From the volunteers that worked on the penny table, to the kitchen staff and organizations in the community; all were so giving.
The penny table had more prizes then ever before which was very impressive.
Organizations and businesses gave so much to the event both for the Penny Table and in other ways.
Then the people who came to the dinner. Wow again!
It was so good to see how many people were there to help out with the cause and to remember Auntie Linda who worked so hard the last four years to make the event happen.
I felt very good to be part of a community like Rainy River on Saturday. It truly is a town with a big heart.
Thanks to all who contributed their time, items for the raffles, cooking and serving, delivering meals to shut-ins and to all those who bought tickets and attended the dinner.
It truly was a dinner to remember.
