Intense drama!

Owl Theatre entertained crowds last Thursday and Friday with their production of Arsenic and Old Lace. It can be clearly seen here how intense the actors were with Mortimer (Jeff Marchuk) looking lovingly into Elaine's (Abbie Pearson) eyes while Abby (Emily O'Connor) and Martha (Taylor Armstrong) look on.

Ooey Gooey Fun!

Belle Holmes, was one of about 35 kids and parents that attended the Do One Thing Day at the Rainy River Recreation Centre during spring break last Wednesday. Due to the warmer weather most outdoor winter activities were cancelled but they enjoyed indoor fun such as playing with slime. They also were treated to healthy snacks and lunch.

Water lines a popping!

The Rainy River town crew was busy last week, but not the kind of busy they would have liked! They spendtall day Monday fixing a water break on Sixth Street. Then with a big warm up on Tuesday the frost moved again in a big way and popped another line on Main Street, forcing the closure of the top block for most of the day on Wednesday. It is definately the price we pay when there is little snowcover and wide temperature swings. We had a warm January, bitter cold February and now a very mild March.
