When you visit a place like Rainy River you really appreciate how wonderful it is to grow up in a small town with a sense of pride, history and hospitality.

Trillium Project Ribbon Cutting

A brief ceremony was held on Friday at the Rainy River Public Library to unveil the new book shelves, made possible by a grant from the Trillium Foundation. The Fun Fly and air show (radio controlled planes) attracted many enthusiasts this weekend. Many camped on the grounds and during the day showed off their planes with acrobatic flying skills.

Rubber Duckie Boat, Taya & her mom Shannon Hagarty gave it their all during the Duct Tape Boat Races here on Sunday. They won the award for best theme boat.

Kids club has read over 190 books at RR Library this summer

The TD Summer Reading Club for Kids is off to a flying start at the Rainy River Public Library.
Almost 30 children have joined our club this year.
