On December 8th, 2015 at approximately 4:15 pm, officers from the Rainy River District of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for service at the Emo Hospital. Upon arrival, officers located a 47 year-old female that had arrived at the hospital and was pronounced deceased.

The Owls kicked off their second court season last Tuesday at home against Pelican Falls.

FDR in his first inaugural address spoke these words; “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”. Sunday night when President Obama spoke, he carried a similar message “Let’s make sure we never forget what makes us exceptional. Let’s not forget that freedom is more powerful than fear”
