An update on a number of things

I hope everyone has had a great summer so far and that Mother Nature has a few more sunny days saved for our rapidly approaching Labour Day long weekend. The column this week will provide you with details on two items that may be interest of to you – the federal New Democrat convention which was held just over a week ago, and a riding wide survey that I am sending out in the next few weeks.

Starting a new year

I could not help but notice Saturday evening as we were fishing just north of my brothers cabin, that the sun is now setting by 8:30 in the evening. We had thought that we could get a full hour and half on the hump, but had to head back to the cabin after an hour fishing.
Fall is coming. The days are definitely getting shorter.
