Everything in moderation

According to the World Health Organization, that glass of orange juice in the morning is no longer healthy. Under the new guidelines for sugar intake, an average glass of orange juice exceeds the six teaspoons that an adult should consume in the day.
The new proposed recommendations will cut the sugar intake from 10% of your allowed calories to 5%. Many of the sugars are hidden in the process foods we consume.

Asparagus on sale is a sure sign of Spring!

In the past week I have experienced a sure sign of spring... asparagus has been on sale at several grocery stores I have been in!
