Arvid Hendrickson
July 5, 1927-February 6, 2010

Age 82 of Wilson Creek, passed away February 6th, 2010. A celebration of Arvid's life will be held at the Rainy River Legion on Tuesday, February 16th at 1 p.m. with a lunch to follow. Please no floral arrrangements at this time. Floral arrangments can be made at the graveside service, which will be held at the McInnes Creek Chapel at a later date. Full obituary to follow.

Telford Tremblay, age 91 years of Rainycrest Long Term Care, 550 Osborne St., Fort Frances, Ontario passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 30, 2010.

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, Simon DeKok of R.R. 3, Listowel, and formerly of Rainy River, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010, two days after his 79th birthday.

23 October 1926 – 19 December 2009

Peacefully on December 20, 2009 at Oakview Place, Sophie Pochailo passed away at the age of 87 years.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rene Alphonse Langlais, age 41, on Saturday, December 26, 2009. Rene was born July 26, 1968 in Emo, Ontario to Alphonse and Annette (Sanche) Langlais, the youngest of 11 children.
Rene grew up on the family farm in Pinewood where he learned his strong work ethics, a love of the outdoors and for sports. He enjoyed hunting and became an elite baseball catcher and an avid competitor.

Norman Harry Nielsen passed away on December 27, 2009 at the LakeWood Health Center at the age of 90.

Edla Augusta Orwick, 98, of Rainycrest Long Term Care, formerly of 1301 Elizabeth St. E., Fort Frances, Ontario, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, December 17, 2009.
