The new owners of the Road Runner Motel and Chesterfried Chicken, Audrey Smith, left, and Rob Cooper, right, are finding running the business here a nice change from their previous careers in the aerospace industry and die and tool design. They are seen here behind the counter of their restaurant.

It's Official

The staff and board members of the Laugh, Learn and Play Centre held their official grand opening last Tuesday in Rainy River. Despite the slippery weather about 40 people were on hand to witness the ribbon cutting and enjoy snacks and refreshments. Acting Mayor Gerry Marchuk did the honour of cutting the ribbon.
