Rainy River, get ready to Celebrate, Remember & Fight Back Friday, June 21! That is when Relay for Life will be held in Rainy River this year!

Friday evenings have been a fun and a learning experience for 18 local youths between the ages of 10-13.

Gary Kreger, from Rainy River, could hardly believe his good fortune on Saturday, April 27th, that was the day that he became the envy of motorcycle fanatics in the Northland. Kreger was the lucky winner of a beautiful black Chief Dark Horse Indian Motorcycle from Seven Clans Casino in Warroad.
People came from miles around and parking was hard to find for the Motorcycle Moolah promotion finale and when Gary’s name was called he came running, out of breath and excited that bike was his.

On May 2nd the Liberal government released its 2013 budget.

I enjoy cooking and like to think that I am fairly versatile when it comes to preparing food. And Mother’s Day was the successful beginning of my love of cooking.
