A made in Canada housing bubble

I’ve been enjoying our nice summer weather all right, but I often find it hard to relax with so many things going on in the riding, in Ottawa, and around the world. The big picture is never far from my mind which is why I’d like to offer some food for thought over the next few weeks on the current economic situation in Canada. It’s not looking pretty, but knowing what we are in for is half the way to winning the battle in my opinion.

Little jobs turn into big jobs

For two summers, we worked hard to renovate the main cabin at our camp. Windows were replaced. New paneling was installed. An ash floor was laid and the cabin looks beautiful. We began upgrading the sleeping cabin by installing new windows through most of the rooms.
Two front windows remained to be replaced.
The job looked pretty simple. The windows were going to be taller than the existing windows and that required some minor adjustments to the depth of the opening.

Have you ever attempted something that you thought you could do and then could not quite get it right when you were in the moment?
