The Harper Conservatives are using the current economic crisis as an excuse to reshape the CBC in ways that were unthinkable just a few short weeks ago. They are using the current crisis as an excuse to starve our national broadcaster and reduce its ability to provide us with local and national news, weather, sports, and cultural broadcasting.

I have been tempted.

It was a mad scramble for me on Monday as I returned from a trip to Minneapolis.
