Jacob (Jack) Anderson Miller 77 of Rainycrest Home for the Aged, 550 Osborne Street, Fort Frances and former long time resident of Rainy River passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at LaVerendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.

Kenora and RR Legal Clinics amalgamate

April 1, 2009 - The Kenora Community Legal Clinic and the Rainy River District Community Legal Clinic are amalgamating today to become the Northwest Community Legal Clinic. The Kenora, Fort Frances and Atikokan offices will be maintained, but staff at the three locations will share clients and manage workloads together.
