Tourism troubles

Tourism in Canada appears to be in trouble. The sickness appears to be coming from a decline of American visitors to Canada. The number of US visitors appears to have been declining at a steady rate since 2001.

We like the new look of your website

Letter to the editor,

We like the new look on the web site and have always enjoyed reading the latest Rainy River District news.
Many of our friends have passed away since 1979 when we moved to B.C.

Lack of snow keeps trails closed

By Brian Russell WLS As of this writing (Jan. 19) NONE of the Wildlands Snowdusters snowmobile trails are open. Of note the River-Lake trail is staked from Stratton to Kreger Road.
