Florence Irene Gabriel (nee O'Leary) died on Thursday, January 27th, 2011 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Richard Gabriel for 57 years. Loving mother of Anna Mae Gabriel (Jack Skeie), Rita Gabriel (Jack Sidsworth), Tom (Bonnie), Peter (Bette) and Robert (Mandy). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Matthew (Sandra), Kevin, Ian, William, Alyson and Colin, and great granddaughter Hannah. Dear sister of Genevieve, Rita, Alice, Gerry and the late Daniel, Kenneth, John, Norine and Paul. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

Richard Theodore Lund, 86 of Rainycrest Long Term Care in Fort Frances and formerly of Rainy River, Ontario passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at LaVerendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.

Peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2011, at La Verendrye Hospital. Fort Frances, Ont, Joseph Ronald Milliard of Rainy River, Ont passed away at the age of 80.

John T. Boretski, age 84 of Baudette, MN passed away on January 11, 2011 at the LakeWood Health Center.

Peacefully on January 15, 2011 at the Rainy River Health Center, Rainy River, Ont, with his family by his side, Rosario Rene of Pinewood, Ont, passed away at the age of 96.

Robert Allen Wade was born in Halifax, NS to Chester Allen Wade and Hester Elizabeth Withers, natives of Granville Centre, NS on 30 May 1920. He was descended from Nova Scotia Planters, some of the earliest settlers in Canada. As a young child he moved with his family to Winnipeg. He was the middle of five siblings. His father worked on the Canadian National Railway as an agent/operator, a trade that his three sons all followed. As a child Robert Allen lived in Fort Rouge and Somerset in Manitoba and in Kipling, Saskatchewan, where he finished school.

Ewald Kaus of Logan Lake, B.C. passed away peacefully at the Kamloops Hospital in B.C. on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 85 years of age.

Peacefully on Wednesday November 24, 2010, at the Rainy River Health Centre, with his family by his side, Nick Aleksijuk of Rainy River, Ont passed away at the age of 79.
