It is with great sadness that the family of Kari Upton, age 93 years, announces her peaceful passing on Tuesday, October 25, 2011.

Peacefully on October 22, 2011 at the Rainy River Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, David of Rainy River, Ontario, formerly of Ottawa, Ontario passed away at the age of 67.

Doris Katona passed away peacefully on the morning of October 3rd, 2011, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Rainy River on April 9th, 1923, Doris was predeceased by her parents, her husband Peter, brothers Vincent and Clarence and sisters Olive and Myrtle.
Doris is survived by son Gerald (Eleanor) Katona of New Liskard and daughters Patricia (Reg) Hodges and Glenda (Pat) Comber, both of Thunder Bay. Also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and extended family.
No service will be held at this time. Interment in Rainy River will be held at a later date.

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Marchuk on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the age of 48 years.

Peacefully on Sunday September11, 2011 at the Rainy River Hospital, Martha Grouda passed away at the age of 95.

Thomas “Tom” Armstrong, age 68 years of 421 Atwood Ave, Rainy River, Ontario, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Clinton Andrew Park of Rainy River, ON passed away peacefully in his 108th year on Friday, September 2nd, 2011, at the Rainy River Health Care Centre. He was born on March 26, 1904 at the family home in Rainy River, to the late Elizabeth and Horace Park.
He had several siblings, Eva, Victor, Earl and Gordon.

Peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Rainy River Hospital, Mryte Lauzon passed away at the age of 105.
