SCAP holds grad ceremony

Vice Principal Kendal Olson welcomed the audience to Sturgeon Creek Alternative Program 2001 graduation ceremonies held Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at Sturgeon Creek School Gym. Olson led in Prayer and introduced each item on the evening’s Agenda.

As construction on the new movie theatre in Baudette continues to inch towards its September opening date, the Rainy River and District Chamber of Commerce has kicked off a fundraising campaign to help buy a pop corn popper for it.

The Rainy River Recreation Board’s annual Railroad Daze celebration is just around the corner. Plans are in the works for this big community festival. Posters have been distributed, If I have missed anyone as far as hosting events or activities please call me so I can put it in the final ad in the paper.

Newly renovated Emo Health Centre officially opened last Wednesday

Last Wednesday was a great day for the Grand Opening of the Emo Health Centre. Scores of people from throughout the district came out to view the new state of the art facilities. It features new furniture, kitchen equipment, lounge, a two-way security camera, front desk renovations which look refreshing and spacious.
