The Ontario Association of Catholic Parents (OAPCE) in Education recognized Director of Education, Mary-Catherine Kelly of the Northwest Catholic District School Board at its recent provincial conference and annual general meeting in Peterborough. The Association awards an Honorary Lifetime Membership to persons who support the aims and goals of OAPCE and who have contributed in a substantial way, through their expertise, time and effort, over a period of years, to the Association.

On Friday May 24, 2013 Ted went to be with the Lord.
He was born in Rockwood, Manitoba, on March 14, 1917 to Carl and Christina Lundgren.

Last week Metrolinx, a government agency tasked with coordinating the transit systems in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas, released a series of controversial proposals for funding transit expansion in that region, including increases to the Gas Tax and HST, either regionally in Southern Ontario or Province-wide.
