Jimmy the Janitor digs into a box of letters addressed to "Deer Jimmy". New Brunswicker, Sandy Gillis (Jimmy the Janitor) had the crowd laughing out loud on Friday night. The well attended performance was a fundraiser for the 2012 RRHS Chem Free Grad.

Dryden OPP report Missing Man

The Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Lukas WHITMORE (25yrs old) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was last seen on the 2nd of October 2011, just West of Dryden. He is described as a white male, 5’3” slim build, blue eyes with short brown hair and a receding hair line, last seen wearing dark clothing.

RR Public Library to hostt popular author: Library Week

Rainy River – Kenora author Gloria Hunter-Alcock will be the guest of honor for the Rainy River Public Library’s Ontario Library Week celebration.

Cross Country Champs

These Riverview students brought home medals from the district cross country run that took place at Crossroads School on Thursday Oct. 6. Jackson Arpin 1st place grade 5 boys. Reece Chorney came insixth for grade 5 boys Lemual Carridice was 11th for grade 6 boys. Rebekka Fraser came in 2nd grade 5 girls. Lara Wood 1st place for grade 5 girls. Elizabeth Fraser 1st place for grade 8 girls.
