When I was in grade 10, our history teacher, Murray Kitts spent months taking us through the build up to World War I and then took us through the many battles that included Canadian soldiers.
We followed the course of the war from its beginning through to the armistice of November 18. I was left with a clear impression that there was no glory in that war. Everything in my memory is of misery, mud and death.

Last October, the Conservative Government introduced their “Clean Air Act” - legislation that Environmental groups called “hollow rhetoric” and “completely pointless”. The Conservative’s proposed Act did not provide any additional powers to regulate the environment that the Government did not already have and did not propose one new rule to prevent greenhouse gas emissions or pollution.

A hippity hop here a hippity hop there... the Easter bunny was sure busy over the weekend!
It was at Hannam Park early Saturday morning hiding over 500 eggs for local kids to find.
That event was a huge success thanks to organizer Kristine Brown and her group of volunteers. About the only bad thing that happened that day was the cold wind from the north, but that did not keep too many kids at home. There was 102 registered before the event and I would say at least 50 more that showed up that day.

Light, temperature, humidity and ventilation are chief home environmental factors affecting plant growth. Any one of these factors in incorrect proportions will prevent proper plant growth indoors. Before purchasing any houseplant you need to do your research and take a look at your home and its environmental conditions before you purchase.
