One thing that can be said for Rainy River is that many of its citizens are very neighbourly.

Last week the community of Fort Frances was polarized by the actions of six teenagers in that community.

Ever felt like there are ghosts in your house?
Well last Wednesday when I arrived home for lunch I was not sure if I had a ghost or someone had broken into my house and messed it up.

Over the weekend I learned that my new circular saw that I received for Christmas is not very good for cutting glass!!!!

Why is it that once a year we all sit with anticipation, waiting for commercials?

If anyone thinks town councillors and mayors/reeves are overpaid I beg to differ.
On Saturday I attended the annual Rainy River District Municipal Association's annual meeting in Rainy River.

What an amazing evening we had at the Alzheimer Dinner to Remember Saturday.

That is what my body sounded like Monday when I attempted to get out of bed.

There is a movement afoot that I hope does not gain very much traction.

A new year...
It is a time that so many of use as a pivotal point to try and change the way we live our lives.
Perhaps it is to quit smoking, exercise more, quit swearing or diet.
